Restaurant menu
#1
I think the Cook/Restaurant would benefit from having a "food menu" for what the place serves to villagers.

Currently the Cook just burns the meat and calls it good. Teach all the recipes you want, but the Cook ignores those because no one needs a pork and beans.

A food menu could work like the fuel menu, giving you the option to toggle edible items. If you don't want your chicken cooked, just turn off cooked chicken. If you have Pam's installed, turn on the end product and that creates a demand for that product, so the Cook will start paying attention to the recipes you taught it. If you want to store your own food in the restaurant without colonists eating it, just toggle off your food and colonists won't recognize it as edible, because they only eat what's on the food menu.
